What is Elastic Time?
Elastic Time is a time tracking application designed for freelancers, consultants, and small teams. It helps you:

- Generate invoices directly from your tracked time

- Collaborate with your team through colleague invitations
Why We Built It
NordStack used Toggl for over 10 years. In mid-2025, Toggl released a new reporting module that completely broke our workflow. After waiting more than six months with no fixes in sight, we decided to build our own solution.
Elastic Time builds on our decade of experience as a Toggl customer, but addresses many issues—not just those introduced in mid-2025. It’s designed to help you keep a detailed record of your team’s daily activities, with support for:
- Personal notes on each activity for context and documentation
- Advanced tagging that integrates with automated categorisation and itemised billing
This tool was built to work the way we work. It’s not guaranteed to fit every workflow, but if you find it useful, you’re welcome to use it.
